Why Your Support Matters
In all 50 states, adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) are aged out of traditional post-secondary education at age 21 or 22. For those who do not qualify for a 2 or 4 year college program, there are no other ways to continue their education.
Your gift ensures that adults of all abilities have access to inclusive, lifelong education with no age out limits.
"College of Adaptive Arts (CAA) is a utopia in the sometimes harsh world. It's goal is to provide educational opportunities for adults with special needs. It accomplishes that goal daily, but in doing so accomplishes so much more. My daughter attends there and also works for them as an associate professor. She loves her classes and describes the school as a fun place. The students are close with one another and have created a community of their own.
